   Spirit and Nature, a celebration in the garden                                      October 3-8

        As our planet revolves during the next four seasons,
the Southwest Sufi Community will be designing and establishing
a garden and orchard area at Bear Creek.   You're invited.  
At the end of this cycle of seasons we will gather for a                                                  celebration / consecration of this  sacred space,
                          sharing the many ways our spiritual paths grow from common soil.

All events begin with dinner on the first day, end after lunch on the last day.

 The SSC is one part of a thriving Sufi 'environment' in and around Silver City.
The Silver City Sufi Circle enjoys many regular, and irregular, opportunities to get together for spiritual practice, dance, and other companionship -- often involving food,
of course.  For the most up-to-date information about in-town happenings look to

Regularly scheduled events which are either specific to SSC
or strongly supported by our teachers and participants include
  
Zikr:
Every Thursday,  at Khankah Jamila Nur, 2106 Juniper Street in  Silver City. 7pm  Gathekas (sacred readings) followed by Zikr, and on the first Thursday of the month only, a pot luck.


Dances of Universal Peace: 
In town, the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month, 7pm, 609 Arizona St, Silver City.
